These are times of great
challenge. Every day hundreds of
our non-human kin are driven to extinction. Every day, thousands of acres of forest are felled and
countless landscapes are cut open, blasted and harmed beyond recovery. Oceans, lakes and waterways are in
peril. Soils are decimated. And all the while, a minority of human
individuals are making more and more money for themselves, with total disregard
for the rest of Life on this planet.
In this time of great
peril, Mother Earth is calling out to all those who love Her, all those who
will work with her to stop this devastation. In this time where radical action is vital, Earth spirit
beings, such as Baba Yaga the Wild Forest Goddess, are expressing their
willingness to work with us as we fight for Life on Earth.
Baba Yaga is fierce and
wild. She does not tolerate the
immature and the selfish. She
commands respect for the cycles of Nature. And She challenges us all to hold up Her burning flame that
can expose and cleanse this world of wickedness.
There are people on this
planet who act with such disregard for the well-being of Life on Earth, that
they must be held accountable. The
Earth's community can no longer accommodate the selfish, sociopathic, desires
of these individuals who would put our whole community (human and non-human) at
risk, for the sake of personal gain.
It is time for the magical
community of the world to use our skills and knowledge for the benefit of Life
on Earth. It is time for us to
begin to work with other activists to hold these individuals accountable for
their actions. It is time for us
to have the courage to hold up Baba Yaga's flame and expose their
wickedness. It is time for us to
add our collective magic to the endeavours to stop the harm that these
individuals cause.
